About the Video Dialogue Project
The Video Dialogue Project seeks to create short films that both record and foster critical dialogues on the experiences of people from historically marginalized identity groups.

VDP was founded by Abby Nathanson. Abby graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she studied Sociology and Africana Studies. She is currently the Executive Director for Women's Power Space, a center in downtown Poughkeepsie for women's leadership, collaboration, yoga and arts. Abby is also the founder and coordinator for Coast-to-Coast Connections, a summer experiential learning trip for Hudson Valley high school students. Her previous work includes serving as an intern for the Youth Arts Group of the Rural and Migrant Ministry. Abby is passionate about white anti-racist activism, decolonial witchcraft in Cameroon, and feminist praxis. She is a RYT-200 yoga teacher and enjoys finding the intersections of her various passions.

VDP's filmmaker and coordinator of the Black Women of Vassar College Project is Andrew Finch-Craver. Andrew studied Geography and Women's and Gender Studies at Dartmouth College. During the 2013-2014 school year Andrew worked as a teaching artist for Spark Media Project in Poughkeepsie creating films and exploring media concepts with elementary school students.
